My introduction to glass bead making happened back in 2014 with a basic Beginner Lampwork kit that my husband gave me for Christmas. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the process and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Within a year I realized I had found my perfect artistic medium and decided that it was time for me to upgrade to a surface mix torch and professional kiln to properly anneal my glass beads. I converted a dark and dusty office space into my new torching space.
After years of practicing, reading and watching various tutorials, and taking a few classes with incredible teachers, my skills continue to grow as does my personal style. I started selling my work at local craft shows and online in my Etsy shop which provided me with a broad network of friends and customers.
I live in southern Oregon just 20 minutes from the Pacific Ocean and work part time at a wonderful local Art supply store. My evenings and weekends are spent melting glass in my temporary home based studio. I plan on teaching lampworking classes once I'm able to renovate my 1967 Oasis camper into a custom designed studio space.
I don't have set business hours but you can reach me via email or telephone.
